Wildcats Alonzo Fraire, Braedyn Moore, Trey Reed (MVP), Chris Pinochet, Andy Licea, Darian Ernst and Za Bawi were named to the All Ice Bowl Tournament

The Wildcat men’s soccer team won the Richardson Ice Bowl Sunday night after defeating Adamson High in penalty kicks. The Cats recovered from a 0-1 deficit to tie the score with 3 minutes left in the match. The exciting finish followed a 6-0 win over Madison, a 1-0 loss to Woodrow Wilson and a 3-0 win over Mansfield Legacy in the tournament.

Trey Reed was named Tournament MVP, and Alonzo Fraire, Braedyn Moore, Chris Pinochet, Andy Licea, Darian Ernst and Za Bawi earned spots on the All-Tournament Team.

The Lady Wildcats were tournament runner-ups, finishing 2nd after losing 4-0 to Frisco Wakeland in the finals.

The men finish non-district play this week with an away game at 7:15 against McKinney North Tuesday night. District play begins Friday at 7 with a game against Berkner at Wildcat Stadium. Their full schedule is here.

The Lady Wildcats play Rowlett High in Rowlett Tuesday night at 7:15, and Friday night they begin district play on Berkner’s B field against district rival Berkner at 7:30. Their full schedule is here.
