The Dallas Police Department launched its no-refusal DWI initiative to limit drunk driving during the holidays.
If you are caught driving under the influence, you’re required to give police a blood or breath sample. If you refuse, officers will obtain a search warrant for a blood sample.
The initiative is underway now and ends after New Year’s.
