Climbing up to Rudolph

A large crowd of families erupted in applause at the lighting of the Christmas tree at sundown Sunday at the 3rd annual Light Up the Highlands hosted by the Lake Highlands Junior Women’s League. Santa was on hand for photos in his sleigh, and he brought along live reindeer for petting and elves to receive letters of request from good boys and girls. In N Out served burgers and drinks, and children enjoyed crafts until dark, when a Christmas movie played on the big screen. The Reverse Food Truck collected 300 pounds of food for for the Vickery Meadow Food Pantry and needy students at LHHS.
