Azeneth Pina is remembered for her fierce loyalty to her family and her dedication to her church. The 14-year-old Lake Highlands High School student was killed last week in an accidental shooting on Whitehurst Drive, when a 16-year-old was playing with a gun.

A GoFundMe account has been set up by her youth pastor Beto Rodriguez to help the family offset funeral costs. As of Monday morning, it had raised nearly $4,000.

The 16-year-old shooter, who police have not identified because of his young age, faces manslaughter charges related to the death.
