Tammi Sauer has penned more than 25 children’s books known for their colorful pictures. The whimsical stories like “Chicken Dance” and “Mostly Monsterly” are popular with tiny readers all over the world.
On Tuesday, she brought that love of reading to Lake Highlands Elementary School, where the kids got a chance to act out her stories and learn the “Chicken Dance.”
“The students enjoyed Mrs. Sauer’s storytelling skills and excitement about her writing,” says school librarian Wanda Meador. “Many of the students were able to purchase books signed by the author.”
