Councilman Adam McGough’s #AllinD10 has teamed up with Richardson ISD to help students in need go back to school well equipped for the upcoming year. The inaugural Back-to-School Fair will benefit Forest Lane Academy this year, a school where more than 83 percent of students qualify for free lunch.

McGough posted: “We really need: backpacks, Kleenex, pencils and notecards.”

The goal is to send every student home with a new backpack stuffed with all the necessities including glue sticks, crayons, scissors and more (see a full list of needed supplies here). The last day to drop off donations is Friday, Aug. 11, from 9-11 a.m. Donors can bring their items to the school, 9663 Forest Lane.
