Students welcome Wildcat Wonderland

LHE PTA volunteers in the Wildcat Wonderland

When school reopens in the fall, students at Lake Highlands Elementary will have a new “classroom” – courtesy of the LHE PTA.

Just before kids went home for summer break, PTA members hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Wildcat Wonderland interior courtyard. The outdoor learning space received enhancements including a new pond with waterfall, split log seating, amphitheater with stone seats for small group learning and a trading post where kids can share nature discoveries.

But the PTA isn’t finished.
