Suspect Latwon Latrell Golf
Police are looking for 18-year-old Latwon Latrell Golf in connection with a shooting and murder on the afternoon of Feb. 20. Police believe Golf was committing a robbery when he shot and injured a woman and killed a man at a Ferris Branch apartment.
As we reported last week, police say that responders to a 911 call found a woman bleeding in the parking lot of the complex, near Whitehurst and I-635, with a gunshot wound to the leg. She directed officers to her unit, where they found the body of Jason Ali Edwards, dead from gunfire.
Police released the following request for public assistance:
“On February 20, 2017, at approximately 3:30 p.m., the victim was shot and killed during the commission of an aggravated robbery by suspect Latwon Latrell Golf, a black male 18-years-old at 9633 W. Ferris Branch Blvd. Anyone with information regarding this murder or the whereabouts of Latwon Golf is encouraged to contact Homicide Detective Shelton, #7760, at 214-671-3612 or c.shelton@dpd.ci.dallas.tx.us.”
One news station reported that Golf might have fled to the Tulsa, Oklahoma area.
