“Fiddler on the Roof” is a classic Broadway musical coming to Lake Highlands United Methodist Church this Thursday and Friday at 7:30 p.m. It is apart of the churches ACT program (Artists of Christian Talent). Tickets are $10 and available at the door.

Grab some popcorn and get comfy for a film screening this Sunday. The films are made by students, and they will be there to talk about their works. The event is hosted by North Texas Alliance to Reduce Teen Pregnancy at the Angelika Theatre in Mockingbird Station. Purchas tickets online, student’s cost is $5 while adults is $50. Get all your shredding done this weekend, and have some fun while doing it too. The LH Public Improvement District and DPD Northeast Division are hosting a free shredding and give away this Saturday from 10 a.m.-noon. Pub Run is a monthly fun run on the third and thirstiest Thursday of each month at a different local watering hole, which this time is meeting at the Lake House Bar and Grill located at 7510 Northwest Highway. Valentine’s Day may have passed, but Triple Threat Burlesque is just getting started. The ladies are planning a sultry “Valentine’s Soiree” showcase this Saturday at 11 p.m. at Pocket Sandwich Theater, 5400 Mockingbird. See performers Blaze the Red Rose of Texas, Shelbelle Shamrock and Violet D’Vine shimmy and shake for $25, with tickets available here.
