With Cedra Pharmacy’s opening at North Central Expressway, stopping at the drug store isn’t quite what it used to be.
The Dallas location is the flagship of the New York-based company and the first to combine a retail pharmacy, medical spa and vitality bar into a one-stop shop, says Nicholas Henderson, head of marketing and branding at Cedra Pharmacy.
“We are creating a unique, individualized wellness experience,” Henderson says.

Ranging from cold-pressed juices and protein bars to facials and chemical peels, the high-end pharmacy offers medical-grade services and products typically sold at dermatologists’ offices, according to CultureMap. A nutritional consultant is stationed at its Substance Vitality Bar to help customers create dietary plans, and its Vitae Med Spa even includes cryotherapy chambers.
“At Cedra Pharmacy, we find and stock the finest products available. High quality, uncommon and effective, our products pass rigorous standards before appearing on our shelves,” reads a statement on the company’s website.
Founded in 2014, Cedra also is located in Houston and looks to continue expanding throughout the metroplex with “pretty aggressive growth plans,” Henderson says.
“Dallas is a cutting-edge community, and people definitely care about how they look and feel and have the money to spend on how they look and feel,” he says.
