Gary Lee Price’s sculpture of George Washington is one of many on display at the Dallas Arboretum.

Mix art and nature when the Dallas Arboretum celebrates sculptor Gary Lee Price. The artist will be on hand to explore his “Great Contributors” exhibition that has been on display all summer, showcasing bronze states of incredible Americans like the Wright Brothers, Abraham Lincoln and others. Price will host a walking tour Friday. Throughout the weekend, there will be lectures about his work and sculpting, as well as live sculpting experiences. Get all the details here.

This Thursday, see the premiere of “Breadcrumbs,” produced by WingSpan Theatre Company. Shows are set for Thursday-Saturday at 8 p.m. and tickets can be bought online here. All showings take place at the Bath House Cultural Center.

While you’re at the NorthPark Center, visit the the 2016 Inspirational Survivors exhibit.  Composed of stories and portraits of breast cancer survivors, the exhibit is part of the The Joanie Hatcher Memorial Survivor Symposium. Click here for more information.

Ready for fall?  St. James Episcopal Church has opened its annual Pumpkin Patch for the entire month of October.  You can use these pumpkins to decorate, carve, or even use to cook.  The patch is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday. All proceeds of this fundraiser will go to the youth ministry to help endorse mission trips by giving scholarships.
