Keon Mayweather was found in the Lake Highlands area and is safe.
No one knows yet how 22-year-old Keon Mayweather, whose family reported her missing in May, ended up squatting in a vacant apartment building on Skillman, about two miles north of Lake Highlands High School.
Mayweather, who according to family members has the mind of a child, reportedly voluntarily left her family’s Euless home, where she frequently would spend her days on the front porch, with no access to car or cellphone, and was without a trace until a few days ago, when a security guard reported her for trespassing.
Police as of Thursday reportedly did not know how she got to Dallas. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that Adult Protective Services is now involved in Mayweather’s case.
