This weekend’s big event is Sundays in the Park, the last one of the series put on by the Lake Highlands Public Improvement District. As the name implies, it’s Sunday. From 5-7 p.m. (please note the time is a little different from the first few) at Lake Highlands Town Center, Walnut Hill at Skillman. Neighborhood dad band, the beloved Lupners, perform, and food trucks serve up Butcher’s Son and refreshing Kona Ice. Sundays in the Park will resume next September, once the debilitating summer heat retreats and allows us to once again venture forth from our air-conditioned lairs.
You have brains in your head and feet in your shoes and can steer yourself any direction you choose … you’re off to great places, like this Saturday … where you’ll bring along your wee ones to celebrate the genius that is Dr. Suess.
