Spring Valley Construction Company began moving dirt at the Lake Highlands Town Center last week, official acknowledgement that more will soon sit on the site than the Haven and the DART station.

Spring Valley was hired to complete construction of five retail buildings, including 4 shell buildings and one Sprouts grocery store with interior finish out. You can view multiple detailed architectural drawings for the Sprouts store here.

The Sprouts store will be 30,000 square feet, with two 5,005 s.f. shell buildings and two of about 9,800. Bill Rafkin, managing director of Cypress Real Estate Advisors, previously confirmed that one will house a Starbucks. At a town hall meeting in March, he said that discussions were also underway with a “high-end taco” concept, a Mediterranean restaurant and a fish house.

Future Cypress projects include the Outlook at the Town Center, a multi-family project between Wildcat Way and Watercrest Park, and David Weekley townhomes on the south end.
