Think cursive handwriting is a lost art? Wonder if students of today won’t be able to decipher historical handwritten texts?
The folks at Scofield Christian School want to help. They’ll offer a Summer Cursive Handwriting Camp, open to the entire community. Many schools have eliminated cursive handwriting from their curriculum, Scofield says, but research shows that cursive writing is a foundational skill affecting other areas of academics.
The camp lasts two weeks beginning July 18th and goes from 9-11 a.m. Monday-Friday. The cost is $200, and welcomes students entering grades 3-6. To enroll, call the SCS office at 214-349-6843.
