It was the wee morning hours on Thursday, May 26, just after 2, when a woman inside her apartment at 11515 Leisure, between Audelia and I-635 in the northernmost sector of the Lake Highlands area saw movement right outside her window.
Upon closer inspection, the tenant observed a man exposing his penis and masturbating, just feet away from where she stood.
Location of indecent exposure
The victim “confronted the suspect,” police say in a press release, and he fled on foot. Police arrived shortly after the woman called 911, but were unable to locate the perp, who is described as a “skinny black male, in his late 20s or early 30s, 5-foot-10 or 6 foot tall, with very short hair.”
Police say the suspect was last seen wearing khaki shorts, a black T-shirt, and athletic shoes that were dark, possibly with a reddish accent color.
Detectives spoke with the management at the Solaris apartments, and they are asking that anyone with any information about this offense to contact Detective Barton of the Dallas Police Sex Assault Unit at 214.671.3685.
