Murphys
Murphys Restaurante & Lounge, a Nigerian restaurant and bar, will open in a large venue on Whitehurst, just off I-635 at Skillman. Murphys has operated the last few years as a hole-in-the-wall on Forest near Greenville. Murphys’ new space, years ago, was home to Fox and the Hound English Pub.
Murphys aside, there is not much going on in this center when it comes to dining and retail. Both the taqueria at the far east end of the lot, and Skillman Wok along the north strip are good for fast takeout. Much of the area is dedicated to church-operated services, such as The New Room and Quest Care Clinic.
