Friday night at Wildcat Stadium it’s the triple witching hour: (1) Lake Highlands High School Homecoming against (2) renewed rival Highland Park (3) with a Wildcat team that’s 3-0 in district play. (Add to that all the parents coming to see their children ‘Dancing With the Dettes’ – yeah, you get it.) If you thought you might glide up at game time and get primo seats in the reserved section, think again.

Social media and neighborhood association sites are full of messages ISO (in search of) tickets to the game, and that’s not a bad idea. Laura Lavender, LHHS ticket chairman, says reserved seats sold out long ago, but plenty of loyal season ticket holders are empty nesters who don’t regularly attend. If you want to purchase general admission tickets, they’ll be on sale in the LHHS foyer Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (cash is preferred by checks to RISD will be accepted with DL# and DOB). Early buyers pay $5 for adults and $3 for students; it’s $6 at the gate.
