Cheerleaders with flowers at last year’s sale
Got a hankering to feel some potting soil in your hands and see some flowers blooming in your garden? The Lake Highlands High School cheerleaders can help with that.
The LHHS varsity and JV cheer squads are selling flats of spring flowers, herbs, mixed flower bowls and hanging flower baskets to earn money for summer cheer camp and other cheerleading expenses. You’ll have your choice of a wide assortment of flower varieties and colors, and you may pick up your flats in the Wildcat Stadium parking lot Saturday, April 18 from 9-11:30 a.m. Each flat, with 18 4-inch pots, is $17.

Varsity cheerleaders are: Kaitlyn Ates, Lizzie Bonahoom, Catherine Bryant, Missy Campbell, Reece Dame, Ruby Ewald, Mallory Hale, Meggie Martin, Hannah Miller, Tita Peterson, Miller Smith, Melinda Thompson, Whitney Tobey, Jena Truong, Reagan West and Mascot Riley Smith.
JV members are: Aubrielle Angell, Grace Cummins, Grace French, Sayana Heyliger, Calli Hickman, Chelsea Leary, Peyton Louder, Taber Roach, Delani Smith, Mollie Spearman, Tiffany Stovall, Abigail Tischer, Erin Wilhelm and Hannah Wood.
You can see the new squad take the field at the annual Red White Game May 2 at 1 p.m. Go Cats!
