Dallas Morning News archives, June 1961: Golden Home Builders president William Schlupp and auto dealer Ben Griffin staged a joint promotion at Lake Highlands’ new neighborhood.

Today, according to one website anyway, the median list price of Lake Highlands North homes is $489,000.
