Dallas police are still searching for the man who allegedly followed a 17-year-old high school student for several blocks before he attempted to steal her bag around 8:30 p.m. Monday, reports NBC DFW. The incident occurred near the busy section of Walnut Hill and Audelia.
During a separate incident on Tuesday evening, a man was shot during a robbery outside the C Store located near Whitehurst and Skillman. That’s according to the Dallas Morning News crime blog, which reports that an armed suspect approached and attempted to steal it. After a struggle, the suspect shot the man before fleeing with the wallet.
I spoke with Senior Corporal Sherri Jeffrey this afternoon and she says that both robberies are still under investigation and no arrests have been made yet.
