In response to recent allegations regarding the recruitment of high school basketball players, Dallas ISD investigators have confiscated computers and documents from Conrad High School assistant football coach Broderick Sublet, Dallas Morning News reports. Sublet “had personal student records that he apparently should have not had,” and was placed on paid administrative leave in the past few days, a DISD official tells DMN.

Thanks to the persistence of a number of Texas representatives, including the efforts of state Rep. Jason Villalba (representing Lake Highlands, Preston Hollow, and North Dallas) Sriracha may be closer to a Texas expansion, KERA reports. Denton officials announced that on Monday they’ll be traveling to Irwindale, California, to meet with Huy Fong Foods, the company that produces the popular hot sauce.
