  • La Duni Latin Kitchen at NorthPark Center will serve its award-winning brunch buffet on Mother’s Day from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. This year, they aren’t taking reservations so it’s first come, first serve. $32.95 per adult;$16.95 per child.
  • If you’re lucky, you can still reserve a spot for the popular Mother’s Day brunch at the Dallas Arboretum for 10:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. with seatings at both Rosine Hall and on the Loggia at the DeGolyer Estate. Brunch buffet options include standard breakfast fare, sirloin steak, honey-glazed ham and a bevy of sides and kid-friendly dining options. After dining, enjoy the gardens before listening to The U.S. Navy Band Cruisers play on the concert lawn at 2 p.m. Song selections include motown, top 40, and more.   • From 10:45 am-8 pm, Casa Linda Plaza’s Highland Park Cafeteria offers special menu items such as raspberry roast pork tenderloin, coconut cake, and lemon meringue pie. Shirley Robinson and Jerry Stephens will perform at the piano. Cost is $11.99 per person; call 214.324.5000 to reserve.
  • Dads can give mom the gift of a little alone time by taking the kids to Whole Foods on Park Lane for some last minute Mother’s Day shopping. From noon-3 p.m., crafter Miss Jennifer will be in the store to assist children in making a free keepsake craft for mom. Older children and adults can opt to create a DIY blended tea sachet for $3 too. From 2-5 p.m. the bakery department will also raffle off free cakes by hosting the musical-chairs-like Cake Walk game.
