Observing an urban coyote: by Travis Stein
Last week a neighborhood photographer sent us a beautiful up-close-and-personal photo of a coyote near White Rock Lake.
This one, a little more voyeuristic, was captured by Travis Stein, who says he frequently sees this and possibly other coyotes hanging out near the backyard of one White Rock area home.
“I always look forward to this spot on my way into work as well as on my way home. I have spotted plenty here,” he says. “Still waiting on that elusive bobcat.”
