- In case you missed it, the Northwest Highway storefront for the Cake Ball Company closed for good last weekend. Even though the storefront is closed, there will be plenty of ways to still get your cake ball fix. You can call in your order, order online and have them delivered by courier, or you can pick them up at Times Ten Cellars Wednesday-Saturday. For those times when you need to satisfy your sweet tooth in a hurry, Times Ten Cellars and Random (located at Mockingbird and Abrams,) will also have a limited selection of Cake Ball Company treats in stock.
- This month’s issue of D Magazine gives a nod to our White Rock Local Market as one of the best Farmers Markets in Dallas here.
- Speaking of the White Rock Local Market, on Saturday, April 5, from 11 a.m.-10 p.m., the brand new Lakewood Chipotle restaurant (located at 2201 Abrams) will host a fundraiser to benefit the popular Farmers Market. On that day, Chipotle will donate 50 percent of your proceeds directly to the market if you mention “White Rock Local Market” while placing your order.
