On Sunday evening, police responding to a call near Richland College on the 13000 block of Audelia, ended up arresting Paula Jean Allen, 48, for aggravated assault and three counts of obstruction and retaliation, reports Dallas Morning News.
Initially, a woman reported to police that Allen had come at her with a knife, prompting the call to police. When officers arrived, police reports say that Allen then threatened to kill them.
Dallas News reports that Allen told officers “I am going to kill you and your family,” and that she called the officer a “dumb redneck.”
Police say that Allen happens to be the mother of a man who shot a Dallas police officer a year ago.
