An unpleasant stomach illness hit Richardson ISD last week.
Richardson High School so far is the only school to report widespread sickness, but it is ostensibly a good idea for those at all area schools to take extra precautions to avoid further spread of the gastrointestinal illness that has caused vomiting and diarrhea that kept some 675 students out of RHS Friday.
“The city health department has not found an indication that the illness is related to any common items that students ate or drank at school,” read a letter from the Richardson High School principal to the staff and families.
Wash your hands, everyone, and wash them good.
