Dallas News named Lake Highlands High School senior Wes Osborn as a soccer player “to watch for in 2014.”

KERA News reports Lake Highlands native Annie Clark, has just released a new song titled, “Digital Witness,” from her latest album, the self-titled St. Vincent, slated for release in February.

Jurors have determined the sentence for Chung Kim, a man who shot and killed two Lake Highlands neighbors last year. The jury found Kim guilty of capital murder Thursday afternoon after a few hours deliberating. Dallas Morning News reports that “Kim, 76, faces an automatic sentence of life in prison without parole.”

Back in July we reported that new multifamily housing will replace the old TI building at LBJ and 75, just west of Lake Highlands. Developers tell Dallas Business Journal that the two-phase project is planned to total nearly 700 units on the 20-acre site. The initial phase of the project is expected to be completed by May 2015.
