Tour day is Friday, December 6, and Chairmen Mary Barnes and Chris Moomaw, President Susan Solomon, 100 active members of the league and as many sustaining members will be on hand to guide attendees through four beautifully decorated homes owned by gracious LH families. As always, the four homes have been chosen as distinctive in the neighborhood, with unique architectural touches and special histories shared by the families.

Homes on tour include Ed and Dianna Bratton at 7315 Danashire, Suzanne and Mark Knudson at 9127 Branch Hollow, Kathryn and Matt Janes at 9121 Moss Farm, and Tracy Martin Taylor at 9859 Elmcrest.

Tickets for the tour are $15 at the door or $10 in advance from Ticket Chair Lisa Ogden at lhwlhometour@gmail.com or 214-232-3297. The tour runs from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Also on tour day will be a Luncheon and a Holiday Bazaar at Highlands Christian Church, 9949 McCree Road at Walnut Hill. Luncheon tickets are $15 (those tickets sell out fast, email Lisa ASAP if interested). The bazaar features merchant booths and holiday gifts chosen by Women’s League members. (You can enjoy first-look shopping Thursday afternoon from 1-4.)

Proceeds from Holiday in the Highlands are used for LH community projects, LH area schools and scholarships for LHHS seniors. To date, LHWL has returned more than $2 million to Lake Highlands and they give more than 800 service hours annually to the community.
