According to public information on his Facebook page, Jackson was a native of Little Rock and a father of at least two.

The suspect, a black male, 27, was arrested on capital murder charges pending a $1 million bond. A second black male suspect is identified but at-large. Names and images of the suspects will not be released until victims have looked at photo line-ups.

A police report notes Motel 6 surveillance video caught the aggravated robbery taking place.

Video captured suspect [deleted] and accomplice standing outside the victim’s room with guns, entering and then exiting a short time later. Both suspect and accomplice were seen running down the hallway … police later interviewed survivors who say the men opened fire inside the room, demanding money.
