What are your thoughts on the Skillman/LBJ area, which flanks, or runs right through Lake Highlands, depending on what you consider Lake Highlands (see our story “Where is Lake Highlands, TX” if you wish to muse on that).

Let the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) and the City of Dallas know where they should most concentrate attention when it comes to improvements. Public transportation? Business and economic development? Parks and recreation? How do you feel about density? The study, by the way, indicates that, as is, the Skillman/LBJ area is “low density”. I wonder, are we talking about the same spot?

Point is, the two government agencies are working jointly on the LBJ/Skillman Urban Planning Initiative.

Said entities are requesting input from neighborhood residents, business owners and so forth regarding the current conditions in the area and future needs and hopes.
