John Claybrook, Texas A&M University’s student body president, will be in town to speak to the Dallas County Aggie Moms Club Thursday, Nov. 15 at 7pm. John graduated from Lake Highlands High in 2009.
While a Wildcat, John was best known for his antics as a Bell Boy, cheering at LHHS football games and dressing in crazy costumes for talent shows and pep rallies.
This is John’s senior year in Aggieland, and before being elected president he served in the Student Government Association and on the Parents’ Weekend Committee. He was a delegate to the Gilbert Leadership Conference and a host for the Conference on Student Government Associations. He also attended the Spencer Leadership Conference and is a member of the Aggie Men’s Club and Maroon Coats. John is a finance major at Mays Business School.
The meeting is open to friends and family of the university, and students & parents interested in attending Texas A&M are welcome. The event will be held at the Texas A&M AgriLife Center (directions here) and admission is free. Lake Highlands’ own Jeanne Spreier is the Moms Club programs chair and can answer your questions at this email: jspreier6808@att.net.
