While the Lake Highlands Town Center might be short on tenants, it’s big on natural beauty. Just walk down by the lake/pond/river. It’s small, but it is a body of water. If it’s a river, then the sidewalk is the river walk, no? Anyhow, the green space, known as Watercrest Park, is quite pretty, and it’s about to get prettier with the addition of three new works of public art.

The City of Dallas Public Art Program was established by ordinance in 1988. Since then, more than 80 public art projects have been commissioned and installed in public areas. This is the first in Lake Highlands.

Prescott Realty Group, The City of Dallas’ Department of Economic Development and The Office of Cultural Affairs Public Art Program, together, made it happen.
