The Spring ArtMart at the Bath House is the cultural center’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and it means a chance to see and purchase pieces from local photographers, jewelers, painters and more. The Friends of the Bath House reception is Friday, April 15 from 7-9 p.m. and the show runs through Sunday. More details here.
The White Rock Home Tour runs Saturday and Sunday and showcases the best in modern architecture in our neighborhood. The two-day event, noon-5 p.m. each day, highlights three mid-century moderns and two new builds near the lake. Plus, there’s a meet-and-greet with the architects themselves. Admission is $10 in advance and $15 at the door of any home on the tour. Proceeds benefit Hexter Elementary to help fund a full-time art teacher, a kiln, drying rack, musical instruments, and new playground and auditorium equipment.
The band Seryn, from Denton will perform a benefit concert Saturday from 7-9 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, 10101 Walnut Hill. A suggested donation of $15 will benefit the Mt. Olive Food Pantry at the church.
