Lake Highlands Varsity golf competed at Firewheel Golf Course in the Sachse Invitational yesterday in windy and wet conditions. The Wildcats have the District 9-5A Tournament coming up on April 12-13 at Firewheel, where they will compete against the likes of Jordan Spieth and other top 9-5A competitors.

In February, Lake Highlands Varsity Golf team traveled to Waco for their first tournament of the year. The Cats placed 10th out of strong field of 18 teams in the two day event at Baylor University team’s course, Twin Rivers Golf Club.
Stephen Allen scored the best for the team over the two days posting a 166. He also had the low team score of 80 the first day. David Green had the low score for the Cats the second day carding an 83.
