Police today are searching for the person who shot and killed Nigerian immigrant Eunice Nzelu, a 58-year-old nurses aide who was returning home to the Deerfield apartments on Forest Lane near Audelia in Lake Highlands from her job at a nursing home.
A witness told police that he heard her yell, heard a gunshot and then found her on the ground. She died before the ambulance arrived. Authorities think it was a robbery and they reportedly plan to charge the suspect, if they ever catch him/her, with capital murder.
