Everybody knows that some kids are fascinated with new ways to use (or abuse) alcohol — as evidenced by the recent 4Lokos craze.
According to reporting on the Today show, videos showing repeated incidents of some mother’s beloved sons and daughters applying shots of vodka to their eyes — yes, directly to their eyes — have gone viral. Which means the videos are being watched in high numbers, presumably by college kids and high school kids. Even if the concept was a hoax (a possibility) it’s not hard to make the leap from a video demonstration to a real-life experiment, especially if there is a promise that alcohol going through your eyeball will somehow get you drunker faster.
Pain should be a good deterrent, but there are a lot of reasons why this is a really bad eye-dea. Sadly, it might be something to watch out for. No pun intended.
