After interviewing Sarah Perry and Mary Norvell for November’s Q&A Spotlight, I became super anxious to get myself back over to the White Rock Local Market for it’s fine produce and locally handmade products. This weekend is my chance — the “everything market” is Nov. 13. It works like this: the market is held twice a month, but once a month it’s only food vendors. The second Saturday is the big market. Not only is this weekend the “everything market”, but it’s also the Pie Baking contest weekend (today is the last day to enter, by the way).
If you don’t get all you need for the holidays this weekend, don’t fret. The ladies are hosting a special Thanksgiving Market Nov. 20 at the usual time, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Here’s more.
