Driving past White Rock Coffee this morning, I saw this message on the marquis: “After dropping off the kids, stop by for a relaxed latte.” I immediately wanted to pull over and take them up on it. Alas, a meeting at my office beckoned, so hopefully other neighborhood parents took this opportunity today after this morning’s first-day-of-school rituals.
I will, however, be taking advantage of White Rock Coffee’s offers this weekend. In celebration of its new location in Hillside Village, the java joint is offering specials on lattes, brewed coffee, muffins and iced tea, not only at its new Hillside spot but also at the original in our neighborhood, on Northwest Highway between Audelia and Ferndale.
