The Dallas Running Club Independence Day 5k and 10k is at 8 a.m. Saturday at Winfrey Point. You can register race day at 7 a.m. $10 for non members and free for members.
The Exchange Club Lake Highlands Parade and Carnival is Saturday, July 3rd.
The Flagpole Hill 8k begins at Norbuck Park at 8 a.m. Sunday, July 4. Entry is $30.
No one in Lake Highlands is setting off fireworks — or at least they aren’t announcing it — but you can catch some in Lakewood July 4, and you can usually see the Fair Park show from Flagpole Hill/White Rock — those will be on Monday night, July 5 — weird, we know.
