The deputy chiefs in charge of the Dallas Police Department’s Central and Northeast patrol divisions, which pretty much covers all of East Dallas, got promotions today.
Vincent Golbeck of the Central patrol and Thomas Lawrence of the Northeast patrol were promoted in a ceremony today. That means the patrol divisions will get new deputy chiefs. It’s already been decided that Mike Genovesi, who heads the special investigations and property crimes division, will replace Golbeck, who by the way, is a serious mountain climber.
