Lake Highlands grad Erin Aldrich was an Olympic high jumper, but now she’s about to take the biggest leap of all and get married. Only this time, instead of a gold medal, Aldrich might win a $100,000 wedding package.

Aldrich and fiance Andy Shean are one of three finalist couples in the Four Seasons Dallas Ultimate Wedding Contest.

Andy Shean and Erin Aldrich, finalists for the Four Seasons Dallas Ultimate Wedding Contest

Erin and Andy will appear on Good Morning Texas on Friday at 9 a.m. on WFAA Channel 8, along with the other couples vying for the Four Seasons prize.

Online voting will begin immediately after the show and last for four days. Aldrich is hoping her Lake Highlands friends will lend their votes to the cause.

LH sports fans will remember that Erin was a two-sport star at the University of Texas. In addition to being an Olympic-caliber high jumper, Erin was a world-class volleyball player as well. She’s played volleyball all over the world and has also been a model. Lately, she’s been back in Texas working on an MBA at UT-Austin. Sounds like someone who has plenty of time to plan a wedding, huh?
