Graduation season is a time of reunions, so many LH seniors enjoy going back to visit their elementary school friends and teachers in the last weeks of school. One group, however, went back even farther. Chase Davis, Michael Wren, Jim Caldwell, DJ Sandidge and Ali Vann first met at 10 weeks old in the newborn infant room of the Church of Christ Day Care on McCree. Ruth Loney, day care director back in 1992, welcomed them back and reminisced with them in the rooms where they played and learned before kindergarten. The seniors shared old photos and remembered funny stories, though they admitted some things about their days as toddlers can be a little embarrassing. “What happens in preschool, stays in preschool,” said Chase Davis. Enough said.
