Will Morgan receives a hospital visit from Bell Boys Will Pittman, Tyler Terrell, Ben Toler and Brent Bono

Loyal blog readers remember Will Morgan, the Merriman Park sixth grader battling bone cancer who served as honorary captain of the Wildcat football team at the playoff game played at The Boneyard. His great attitude has inspired the entire neighborhood and his “Will to Win” t-shirts are seen on supporters around town.
The Will to Win team will be participating in the DFW CureSearch Walk at Texas Motor Speedway Saturday, May 22 to raise money for pediatric cancer research and to increase awareness. If you’d like to walk and/or donate to the cause – they’ve raised $9,000 so far – you can visit the CureSearch website to participate. Click on “register” to walk or “support” to give. You can also mail a check to CureSearch, 4600 East West Highway, Suite 600, Bethesda MD 20814.
“We are overwhelmed by the support the LH community has shown,” said Will’s mom Renee Long. “Will can’t wait for walk day so he can thank everyone in person.”
Registration and check-in begin at 9:30 am on May 22, with the opening ceremony kicking off at 10:30. Go Will!
