The White Rock Lake Festival, including food, music and sundry forms of entertainment for the fam, is this weekend—Saturday from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
It all starts with the White Rock ‘n’ Roll 5- and 10-mile races Saturday at 8 a.m. at Winfrey Point. You can register there beginning at 7 a.m., or early at Run On through 7 p.m. April 29, or at Green Spot April 30 from 4-7 p.m. The run is $30 for the 5-er and $35 for the 10 miler and entry includes admission to the festival. Festival tix are $5 or free for kids under 12.
