Lake Highlands fans can vote for another deserving alum during the UIL’s Centennial Celebration. Former LH baseball great Scott Livingstone, Class of 1984, is up for a spot on the All-Century Baseball Team at third base.

This is in addition to LH’s Erin Aldrich, who is up for a spot on the Girls Track and Field All-Century Team. Aldrich already made it on the All-Century Volleyball team and fellow LH alum Phil Dawson is a member of the All-Century Football Team.

As someone who witnessed Scott Livingstone’s high school career, as well as many other area high school greats, I can honestly say Scott is fully deserving of this honor. Not only did Livingstone have incredible power – the ball jumped off his bat, and often landed on the houses behind the LH outfield – he also threw a no-hitter against Plano as a pitcher.

Livingstone continued to be phenomenal at Texas A&M. Although his major league career, spent mostly with the Tigers and Padres, never matched his high school and college feats, he is truly one of the best high school players in the state’s history.
