Hoop it up in the Highlands—well, it’s too late to actually enter, but if you’re in, the tournament is this weekend, Saturday, March 27 at Highland Oaks, 10805 Walnut Hill. If not, come on out and watch the kids play—there will be food, live entertainment and a fun zone for the wee ones.
The Country Western Dance Off, which is also a fundraiser for children in Haiti, is Saturday March 27, at Pearce High School. The dance off includes a bench-press competition, skate competition, jitterbug competition and a stunt off—yeehaw!
Streeeetch those muscles and sweat it out at the Bikram Yoga open house, Sunday, March 28, featuring free classes at 10 a.m. and noon—but you need to reserve your spot!
