The fluffy snow and dropping temperatures have caused a few changes in weekend plans for Lake Highlands.
Back to the Boneyard, the movie chronicling the Wildcats’ playoff run, will now be shown Thursday, February 25 at Studio Movie Grill. DVDs will also be sold for $10. The Concert for Haiti will be rescheduled for sometime in March. RISD has cancelled all after-school activities in the district.
The boys’ varsity soccer game Friday night has been moved to 6 pm, still at Standridge stadium in Carrollton, and the boys’ JV will not play. The girls’ game has been rescheduled for Saturday at noon, still at The Boneyard. Side benefit: now the girls can attend the boys’ game and vice versa – they’re usually playing at the same time.
