It looks like Ole Miss, in town for the Cotton Bowl, isn’t the only team from The Magnolia State doing business in the area.
The Lake Highlands girls basketball team fell victim to Presbyterian Christian from Hattiesburg, 47-37, in Tuesday’s action of the Sandra Meadows Classic in Duncanville. Presbyterian Christian is ranked No. 3 in the state of Mississippi in the AAA Academy classification.
Nine different players scored for the Lady Wildcats, but none in double figures. Tierra Scott led with nine points and Hannah Wedding added seven to top the LH scorers.
