If you’re reading this blog post, you may not be the type to head to the Audelia library to read the 1,990-page health care bill, which Congressman Jeb Hensarling‘s office describes as over 8 inches tall. If you decide to read it at all, you’re probably more likely to download the bill from the congressman’s website.

Nonetheless, if you’d like the tangible experience of thumbing through all 1,990 pages, it’s ready and waiting for you whenever the Audelia branch is open, courtesy of Hensarling. (Today Hensarling delivered the bill to 12 libraries in his district — a total of 23,880 pages printed out — with the Audelia branch being the only Dallas recipient.) The congressman says he is making the bill available because he thinks "it is important that East Texans clearly understand the consequences of such a take-over."
